PRACTICAL GUIDEThe essentials in 2 min

Start from a template

Reuse an existing starting point when it fits your needs.

The outcome

An evaluated template connected to your own account.

Workflow illustration · example data

Your path, in three steps.

  1. 01

    Review the template

In Marketplace, check the target software, action, expected inputs and validation information.

  2. 02

    Install with your own access

Follow the installation and connect your account when prompted.

  3. 03

    Verify your use case

Check a known example. A template’s evidence does not replace validation on your account.

Overview

The marketplace lists connectors other people have built for the same software you use. Installing one gives you your own connector, on your own account, with your own login. Nobody's data is involved — only the know-how is shared.

Installing

Open a listing, click Install, and it is the same three steps as setting up a customer: name it, sign in, Vela checks it works. No build is used.

Sharing yours

On a connector, Publish to marketplace. You give it a public name, one sentence about what it does, and a category. That sentence matters more than it looks — it is what someone reads before deciding to trust it.

What leaves your account

The know-how, and the description of what goes in and out. Not your sign-in, not your password, not the recording of your build, not your runs — and not your example values, which are replaced before publishing, because on a booking connector they contain a real client's name and phone number.

A badge describes what is true today, and can be lost.
BadgeWhat it means for you
CandidateIt passed every automatic check, but has only ever run on the account that built it. Installable, and honestly labelled.
CertifiedIt has been proven to work on someone else's account — meaning it genuinely reads *your* data and not the author's. This is the one to look for.
Fleet-provenWorking on five or more accounts, for at least a month, almost without failing.
WithdrawnA problem was confirmed. Removed from the list; existing installations keep running.
Why the badge cannot be bought or requested

There is no way to tell, by reading a connector, whether it looks up *your* account or has the author's account written into it — on one account the two look identical. So it is proven by trying it on a second account and checking that the answers actually differ. Which means the certified badge arrives on its own, the first time somebody else installs it and it works.

Reviews

Only people who have actually installed a connector can review it, and every review carries a figure nobody types in: how reliably it has run on their account over the past month. A review with a measured number attached is worth ten written ones.
